In April this year I went to St. Petersburg, and got stuck wandering the amazing metro there. It was quite a whirlwind trip, my adventures in Russia have only started I hope.

In a way, I can understand why during communist times, it was decided to build the metro as a "Palace for the People". The only other places with as much extravagance were the dozen palaces from the tsars and the religious monoliths.

Lastly, I did a fun mini-project of photographing the vendors outside of tourist traps.
