experience

2017 saw the beginning of my largest project to date - walking all of the National Waymarked trails of Ireland. Over six months myself and Carl Lange lived in a tent and walked 2,500km.
Due to injury we have had to take a break in walking. We restart walking in February 2018.

During 2016 I worked in The Library Project, Temple Bar,  helping in the running their shop, gallery space and library.

I have took part in a number of exhibitions that year, while also taking an active role in the organising and management of some of these shows. I organised the group show Nothing in Stone, which was part of the PhotoIreland Photofestival 2016. The exhibition showcased the work of 14 of the recent graduates from IADT's photography degree.
During that time I also worked with the PhotoIreland Photofestival on the installation and invigilating of a number of their other shows throughout Dublin.

Previously while living in Tallinn in 2015, I worked with Annika Haas at her Gallery and Artist space, ambulARToorium, installing a 40 piece body of work throughout the building.

As part of my erasmus I studied on EKA's M.A. Design course. This is where my idea Digital Forest for the Estonian Pavilion at MilanEXPO was developed, from conception through testing and construction, to being installed in the Estonian Pavilion at the Milan EXPO 2015. In a different line from previously produced work, the installation piece was focused around Estonia’s new age of technology, and the forestry that makes up over 60% of the Estonian landscape.

Del Norte 2016
Del Norte is a selection from the photographs I took while walking the Camino Del Norte - 1,100km across Spain. This work focuses on the landscape, the repetitive nature of walking, and the beauty in the everyday.

Del Norte has been exhibited as part of Photo Week Aarhus in Denmark (Sept. 26th - Oct. 2nd), and in the Dublin Art Book Fair (Nov. 10th - 13th). A copy also lives in The Library Project in Temple Bar, Dublin.

Dialect 2014
Dialect was made as part of a college project and was printed as a single edition.
It is focused around the constant movement I associate with the city. The imagery looks at the small things that get overlooked, and the strong lines that can be seen in the urban environment, which frame and cut the landscape. I also give a personal response to how the I feel in the city and talk about the frequency of how much I move ‘home’.
